Program and packages of the 4th Yucatan Bird Festival

Both Paul Wood and Ted Eubanks will be among our expert guests to help orient you, but the real stars are our local guides, who can’t wait to introduce you to their land. The cultural inter-exchange between visitors and “locals” is what has made the festival so successful… and fun. There are exhibits and conferences in the lovely city of Mérida as well as in the field; birding atop the ancient pyramid in the colonial town of Izamal; plus exquisite dining and incredible birding at our headquarters at the enchanting 16th c. Hacienda Chichén.
The Festival is again organized by a committee that includes representatives of the Secretary of Tourism of Yucatan, Pronatura Península de Yucatan A.C., Niños y Crías, A.C., the CAPY program and Ecoturismo Yucatán, and is strongly supported this year by Hotel Hacienda Chichén, Fomento Ecológico Banamex and the Government of Yucatan.

Information and Reservations: www.ecoyuc.com.mx; toh@ecoyuc.com; and at www.yucatanbirds.com.

Sincerely,

Barbara MacKinnon de Montes
Coordinator, Organizing Committee
