Caribbean Maya
Colonial cities of Mexico, archaeological jewels including Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, and Cobá s enormous pyramid, opportunities to observe mammals and endemic birds in their tropical jungle setting, and the chance to snorkel in cenotes, coves, bays and Caribbean reefs make this a special experience.
Tour's Schedule
Day 1 : Arrival at the airport and transfer to Hotel Maison del Embajador. After your check in, go out on your own and walk to see the colonial city of Mérida at night make a stop to have dinner in any of the many restaurants in the area.
Day 2 : After breakfast, depart for Chichen Itza, visiting the colonial city of Izamal in route. Lunch at Chichen Itza; visit the site and continue on to Valladolid. Overnight at the Meson del Marques. (B) Day 3 : Depart after breakfast for the ruins of Ek Balam and then visit to the cenote Xkeken. Lunch in Valladolid town and then continue on to the archaeological site of Coba stopping around dusk to bird watch around the lake. Overnight at Coba. (B) Day 4 : At dawn explore Punta Laguna in search of the elusive spider monkey. Return to Coba for breakfast and a visit to the ruins. Lunch and arriving late afternoon in Akumal, the ideal place for snorkeling and other water sports. Check in the hotel Club Akumal Caribe where you will spend the next two nights in an Oceanfront room. (B) Day 5 : After breakfast spend the morning visiting the Maya seaport of Tulum and Yalku Inlet, enjoy a delicious lunch with your guide for the last time. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beautiful beach of your comfortable hotel in Akumal (B) Day 6. Shared transfer to Cancun airport. No meals included.

- insect repellent - sunscreen (preferably biodegradable) - binoculars - hat - raincoat - comfortable clothes - bath suit - walking shoes - small towel.
